It’s extremely important to choose the right site of the penis for the injection. Intracavernous injections should be delivered directly into an area of the penis called the corpora cavernosa. If you imagine a clock from the center, you can identify an area that is either at 10 or 2 o’clock for an appropriate site of injection. You want to avoid any visible blood vessels.
Obtain instructions on dosage from your doctor before using any penile injections.
